Dear Interested School Volunteers:

Thank you for your interest in our school district and your willingness to share your time and talents to benefit our students and the Newton Community School District as a whole.

  • To volunteer at your child’s school you will need to complete the Newton Community School District’s Volunteer Packet with background check forms every 2 school years.
  • The completed Volunteer Packet should be turned into your child’s school for processing. 
  • Please note 2 copies of your Photo ID must accompany the Volunteer Packet.
  • The background check will be processed by the Newton Community School District.

Thank you for your cooperation in completing the required forms and turning them in to your school's secretary. The forms can take up to 2 weeks to process. Be sure to plan in advance. We appreciate you partnering with us in the safety and success of our students.
